Coldplay, Hypnosis, and the Power of Words to Heal

Last week, I was lucky enough to see Coldplay live in Auckland, and wow—what an experience! The lights, the music, the energy—it all hit in a way I didn’t expect. But as I stood there, singing along with thousands of people, something deeper clicked for me: the incredible power of words, music, and positive energy to heal.

As a hypnotist, I’ve always believed in the transformative potential of words. What we say to ourselves and others has the ability to lift us up or hold us back. And Coldplay? They get it. Every lyric feels like a little reminder of hope, love, and resilience.

The Healing Power of Words

Chris Martin’s voice echoed through the stadium, singing words like:

“When you feel so tired but you can't sleep, stuck in reverse...”
Sound familiar? We’ve all been there—feeling stuck, weighed down by life’s challenges. But then comes the shift:

“Lights will guide you home…”
It’s not just a lyric; it’s a promise. A reminder that even in the darkest moments, there’s light waiting to guide us. This is exactly what I work with in hypnosis—using positive suggestions to gently guide the mind from “stuck” to “free.”

Music, Hypnosis, and Positive Thinking

Hypnosis and music have something in common: they both work on a subconscious level. Music can shift your mood instantly, like how "Fix You" feels like a warm hug when you need it most. Hypnosis works similarly, but with intentional words and suggestions tailored to your unique needs.

Imagine replacing negative self-talk with uplifting words that help you believe in yourself. Through hypnosis, we can plant those positive seeds—just like Coldplay’s songs do—so they grow into something beautiful.

Auckland’s Dose of Positivity

That Coldplay concert felt like a massive group therapy session, with thousands of strangers united in positivity. It reminded me of what hypnosis sessions can feel like: a safe space to release what’s holding you back and embrace a brighter mindset.

Here in Auckland, we’ve all been through a lot lately. Life throws its punches, but I truly believe that with the right tools—whether it’s a Coldplay song or a hypnosis session—healing is always within reach.

Ready to Create Your Own Inner Light?

If Coldplay taught me anything, it’s that words matter. Whether sung in a stadium or spoken during a hypnosis session, they have the power to transform. If you’re ready to let go of negativity and start creating your own “guiding light,” let’s work together.

Because everyone deserves to feel the magic of healing—through music, through words, and through life.
